Located on Taplejung Hill at 3,794 meters (12,448 feet), it is believed to fulfill the wishes of pilgrims who visit. The temple is 19.4 km northeast of Phungling municipality and is sacred to both Hindus and the Limbu community. Even Nepal’s former King Birendra and his family were devotees of this temple.
